Pen mill infant and nursery academy to remain Open18 July 2021 (by admin) |
Dear parents and carers,
Some of you may have been informed of the St Michael’s whole school closure today. As a community we have become increasingly vulnerable to increasing rates of Coronavirus and the knock on effect that isolation brings with this. However as a school, we are keen to see the year through and will remain open for pupils and families who are safe to attend as usual.
Please could we ask that parents remain alert to the symptoms of coronavirus, along with any other changes noted in your child’s health and behaviour so that together we can safely reach the end of term. Should your child feel unwell or just become out of sorts we would politely ask for you to remain at home.
If you are going to make the decision to keep your child home as an older sibling is isolating from St Michael’s please do inform the school office via email or telephone, the coding for absence will be put down to isolation.
Thankyou for your support and we will keep everything crossed that we can reach Wednesday happily and safely.
Many thanks
Mrs Manning and Mrs Cullen
